Paralegal
Jones Law Office is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate and/or Estate Planning Paralegal to assist our attorneys by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation, document review and research. Jones Law Office is a boutique law firm located in Mankato and New Ulm, Minnesota with a dynamic legal practice concentrated in the areas of Estate Planning, Corporate and Business Law, Real Estate, Civil Commitment and Civil Litigation. Job Summary: The Paralegal will provide support to our attorneys, help with drafting legal documents and perform other administrative and clerical duties as requested.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Experience preparing correspondence and drafting legal documents
- Experience with managing calendar and scheduling meetings
- Proven ability to listen effectively and to maintain strict client confidentiality
- Excellent writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Ability to learn new computer systems and workflow processes
- Excellent customer care skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Paralegal or Legal Assistant studies, Accounting, or equivalent experience working in a law office or legal setting required
- Exposure to legal concepts and practices is highly desirable
