Dick (June 22, 1949 – February 18, 2021)  practiced in the areas of Business Planning and Trusts and Estates for over 30 years.  Dick was born and grew up in Fairmont, MN with his wife, Terry.  After attending undergraduate school in Colorado, Dick moved back to Mankato, MN and served the people of Southern Minnesota ever since.  Dick merged his firm, Kakeldey Law, with Jones Law Office in May 2015.  Dick also became licensed to practice law in the State of South Dakota in 2016.

When not practicing law, Dick enjoyed spending time  in South Dakota at his cabin and spending time with his family, including his two daughters, son-in-law, and particularly his three grandsons.
